With sleepovers, road trips and reunions to come, this Christmas is bound to be a great one!
“What is the true meaning of Christmas?”you ask. Well, Christmas is only the most spectacular celebration of the birth of Jesus, and it comes with an endless amount of traditions and customs that only add to the holly and jolly of the season. Prancing, dancing, caroling, baking, giving and decorating are only a few of the many joys rekindled during the holiday, and Christmas time also marks the beginning of The Nutcracker ballet performances that are showcased across the world during this time!
I have not yet auditioned to participate in this ballet, but I presume that I will in the next few years because who wouldn’t want to be cast as the Sugarplum Fairy at least once in a lifetime!
The nonstop replay of my all time favorite Christmas movies including Elf, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, Home Alone 2, The Polar Express, A Charlie Brown Christmas and Santa Claus, as well as an ongoing shuffle of the hottest holiday hits are also a huge highlight to this great season.
Above all, Christmas should be a time to gather with family, give back to others and, overall, reflect on the reason for this great season!
